Founder & Director

Dear Families,

It is with profound joy and a heart full of hope that I welcome you to Marthville Kindergarten School. As a parent and an educator at heart, I have always believed that the earliest years of a child's life are nothing short of magical—filled with wonder, possibility, and the foundations of who they will become. It is this deep belief that inspired me to create Marthville: a warm, nurturing community where every child is seen, cherished, and encouraged to blossom. At Marthville, we are not only preparing children for primary school; we are helping shape confident, compassionate, curious young minds ready to embrace the world. Through a thoughtful blend of play-based exploration and structured early childhood development, we create an environment where learning feels natural, joyful, and empowering—allowing each child to grow at their own unique pace. I warmly invite you to become part of the Marthville family—a place where every child matters, every voice is celebrated, and every day holds a new adventure. Together, let us build a beautiful beginning for your child's journey.

With warm regards,

Nancy Abalo Opiyo

OUR JOURNEY

The Marthville Story

A dream that became reality in 2026. Follow our journey from vision to vibrant community.

The Inspiration

How it all began!

Marthville was named in honor of the director's late mother, Mrs. Lalobo Martha Auma, whose life was marked by extraordinary love, warmth, and generosity. She welcomed everyone like family and taught values of faith, empathy, inclusiveness, and kindness. The name combines "Marth" from Martha and "Ville" to represent the loving village she created. Marthville stands as a living legacy of her heart, values, and the sense of belonging she gave to others.

Early 2025

The Vision Takes Shape

Nancy dreamed of creating a kindergarten where every child felt truly at home, safe, loved, and free to explore the joy of learning. With that dream firmly in her heart, the early plans for Marthville began to unfold, turning vision into reality.

Looking Ahead

Building Our Dream

We set out to bring together passionate and qualified Ugandan educators who shared our dream of nurturing young minds with love, excellence, and integrity. Guided by Nancy's leadership, our founding team united, each member bringing dedication, expertise, and a shared belief in the Marthville vision.
